The municipality of Salgesch – A Burgergemeinde (civic community) with a council and a political municipality of the Leuk district with around 1450 inhabitants. This is where the first Swiss Grand Cru was founded.

“We want to make a short film for the creation of the new community flag. But we don’t want a conventional documentation. The agency must offer us something creative and extraordinary.”

What we delivered

The municipality of Salgesch commissioned us with a difficult mandate: the concept and implementation for some kind of short documentary, with a creative approach.

Anyone who knows the people of Salgesch knows that they never lose their sense of humour, even with serious topics. And so, it quickly became clear to us that we would be working with a pinch of “Salgesch Humour”, in addition to the information on the creation of the flag.

After creating the screenplay, several sessions with the “main actors” were shot, devoted to the creation of this flag: the artist, the seamstress, the community speaker and last but not least the star of this short film, the flag bearer – a real unicum of the village!

The film was shown to locals at the inauguration on a giant screen.

Have a look HERE at the short film in the local language “walliserditsch”. Subtitles are available in German and French.

What they said

“Such a project can only come to life through a creative and technical wealth of ideas as well as the cinematic talent of destinazio. Relaxed and fun preparation, professional workflow and a great result. We now use the video on all digital media. We are very satisfied and are happy to recommend destinazio to others.”
