inDrive - Case Study

How destinazio helped inDrive optimize 100+ components and streamline team collaboration on Webflow Enterprise

inDrive, a global ride-hailing platform operating in 46 countries with over 240 million app downloads, chose destinazio. to optimize its promotion website infrastructure, improve localization processes, and implement the Client-First approach within the Webflow Enterprise space. The complexity of the project included managing 47 locales, over 900 folders, and transitioning to a new component library — all while ensuring the highest standards of performance and scalability.

Key Results

Enhanced and adapted over 100 components to fit within the Client-First framework, ensuring streamlined collaboration and faster development cycles.

47 locales (languages) and 51 country-specific folders optimized and streamlined a highly complex localization structure.

Provided extensive training and documentation for best practices for collaborative work in the Webflow Enterprise Space & Client-First aaproach training.

The challenge

The inDrive Webflow enterprise project was marked by several technical challenges:

  • A complex folder structure, with URL depths up to 5 levels.
  • A dual-layered localization system: The project had to manage both language and country-specific content.
  • Component optimization: Adapting and optimizing 100+ components to follow the Client-First approach for improved collaboration and scalability.

Our approach

1. Global component library optimization

We optimized the global component library for Webflow’s Enterprise space by adapting over 100 components to follow the Client-First framework. This restructuring not only enhanced code cleanliness but also allowed new team members to quickly understand and collaborate on the project. The benefits of the Client-First approach include:

• Faster onboarding: New developers can easily navigate and contribute to the project thanks to clear naming conventions and reusable components.

• Improved collaboration: The structured component library allows for seamless teamwork, with the ability to implement changes and updates faster.

• Scalability: The Client-First framework ensures that the project is built to scale, making future development and maintenance more efficient.

• Additional tasks included optimizing assets (WebP, SVG) and removing unused classes and elements for better performance.

2. Localization & URL structure support

Destinazio implemented a structured logic system and handled the localization setup for 47 locales (languages) and 51 countries. The system was optimized for efficiency and scalability.

3. Training

The inDrive team received comprehensive coaching on Webflow’s Client-First system, focusing on best practices for class naming, component management, and image optimization. A dedicated 4-hour webinar was conducted in Russian, with a training guide provided to ensure the team could maintain and scale the project independently.

Conclusion

destinazio’s work on the inDrive project highlights their ability to optimize large-scale Webflow enterprise projects by enhancing collaboration and future-proofing development with the Client-First approach. The result was a more efficient, scalable, and organized project structure, with the inDrive team fully equipped to manage future updates and growth.
